FASA Launches Fundraising Activities and Website………

Welcome to the Grand Opening of our new FASA Fundraisers website. We hope you find it both useful and an enjoyable visit. Our club is growing by leaps and bounds, from 22 teams in 2004 and over 40 teams in 2007. And with our growth comes added responsibilities to communicate to our kids, parents, and our community.

Going forward this site will be your informational portal for FASA’s Fundraising activities. As we begin our quest to build our new soccer complex. We want to expand and improve our communications without the cost and effort associated with meetings and handouts. Both are costly and inconvenient! While we don’t want to lose our human touch and friendships, we do want to keep it simple!

FASA announces “Field of Dreams” project…………

To meet the clubs growth, FASA has obtained land property to build a new soccer complex. The club has named it the “Field of Dreams” project. The club is now waiting on county permits for the construction and engineering plans. Construction is expected to begin in June 2007. See the “Field of Dreams” navigation bar for more details…..

FASA Coaches Kick-Off with Fredericksburg Generals at the Fredericksburg Field House………

The FASA coaches kicked off our fundraising efforts with an exhibition game. It was a great success and tremendous fun for all. Our appreciation goes out to our co-sponsors, the Fredericksburg Generals and Fredericksburg Field House. The event raised over $5,000.00.

After a 6-6 tie, the coaches have already challenged the Generals to a rematch next year in what we hope can be an annual FASA event. See the “Event” navigation bar for more details……..
